ABOUT
Creating pieces that tell a story.
Becca Kothmann (formerly Atherton) is a western artist and leatherworker from Tulsa, OK. Her fine art focuses on realistic drawings and paintings of authentic landscapes and people, especially those that make her soul happy. Her leatherwork includes designing custom-tooled belts and other pieces that tell stories through painstaking detail and color, applying her fine art skills to leather.
Becca has been a creator since childhood, but began to refine her niche in college after working on wide-open ranches in New Mexico and South Dakota. She fell in love with the people and places who live down dusty roads and work the land. Becca maintains a long customs list, and loves nothing more than turning a client’s ideas into reality.
Currently based in Stillwater, OK, she is also a veterinary student and farrier, and spends much of her time studying equine podiatry. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness, road trips to new places, and spending time with her fiddle-playing husband, Kody. Nothing is more important to her than living a full life, and she strives to share that feeling in her work.
All glory to God.
